The Illogical Biological Machine

This is an interesting time in history.  Only a self-centered species would start with such a redundant statement — every moment is compelling if you’re interested (and interesting) enough to go beyond simple surface features.  We realize more than we ever have before about the inner workings of the mind (that was another example of the kind of narcissistic statements that humans often indulge in – are you getting this yet?)  However, despite millenia of evolution we still lack self-control, we still scream for attention, and we may even still blame everyone around us for our own problems or states of dissatisfaction.

We are the illogical biological machine.
